Meetings
Beginning January 2010, the TBA monthly meetings will be held on a Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM. Meetings are held at Towne Hall, a wing of Towne Bank, located at 137 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Chesapeake, VA 23322. Click here for directions to the meeting location.
The public is invited to join us for coffee and homemade snacks and to socialize before the meeting.
The 2010 Monthly meetings will be held on Thursday as follows: July 8, August 5; September 16; October 7; November 4; December 9, 2010.

- March 13, 2010 - Advanced Beekeepers Course; Va Weseylan College
- March 28, 2010 - Bee Yard Visit for new TBA beekeepers. We will install four packages of bee's into their new hive.
- April 8, 2010 - Africanized Honeybees presented by Ann Harman President VSBA
- May 6, 2010 - When Honeybee's Swarm presented by Frank S. Walker TBA President
- June 3, 2010 - Bee Venom Therapy presented by Carol Watkins
- July 8, 2010 - Your Flowers and the amazing Honeybee presented by Master Gardner Leilani Ozment
- August 5, 2010 - How to split a strong hive and create Nuc's presented by BGES President Paul Kist
- September 16, 2010 - Fall Hive Management presented by C.E. Harris
- October 17, 2010 - Feeding Your Bee's in preparation for winter presented by President Frank S. Walker
- November 17, 2010 - Bee Thankful!! Members bring nonperishable food items for the Foodbank of Southeast VA.
- December 9, 2010 - Build your own woodenware presented by Vice-President Sean Kenny and Andy Westrick
- January, 2011 - TBA New Beekeeper Training Conference
